Primary Health Care Development:
Provision of training to medical staff for Health Facilities in Ghat and Zawya
A capacity-building program with an aim of Primary Health Care Development was implemented to support seven selected medical facilities in the East and South of Libya. Ghat and Zawya municipalities were targeted, and a total of 11 training courses of the following titles were implemented:

Family Practice Approach (FPA) Orientation Workshop

Nurses ToT training

Midwiferies ToT training:

ToT training on Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes & Asthma)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Out of a total of 101 participants trained in both areas, 12 were male and 89 were female. Trainees were remarkably motivated, committed to improving and dedicated with care to their patients.
